Ecstatic Dance Autumn Festival – October 24–26, 2025 in Freiburg

... our Ecstatic Dance Autumn Festival will take place in the beautiful Waldorfschool Rieselfeld in Freiburg.
We’re creating a weekend focused on free dance, connection, and inner alignment – embedded in a diverse program of music, movement, and mindfulness.

Program (excerpt):

• Several Ecstatic Dance sessions

• A shared cacao ritual

• Yoga offerings for relaxation and regeneration

• Various workshops on bodywork, mindfulness, and creative expression

• Meditations and silent spaces

• Contact improvisation as a playful form of movement and interaction

Venue
The festival takes place at the Freie Waldorfschule Freiburg-Rieselfeld.
The large gymnasium with a high ceiling offers plenty of space for movement and dance (up to 170 people). An additional hall is available for workshops, singing circles, and gatherings.

We’ll spend the entire weekend on-site, allowing space for deepening, exchange, and connection. Participants come from across Germany and beyond.

For Children
There is a dedicated kids' room with toys and creative materials.
Childcare will be provided during workshop times.

Food
Our kitchen team offers vegetarian, organic meals (3 meals per day + hot drinks) for a package price of €50.
Vegan or gluten-free options are available upon request.
Self-catering is also possible.

Accommodation
Classrooms will be available for overnight stays (please bring your own sleeping mat and sleeping bag).
One separate sleeping room is reserved for women only.
Alternatively, accommodations are available in Freiburg (hotels, hostels, Airbnb).

Discounted Tickets through Volunteering

A limited number of volunteer spots are available (kitchen, kids' space, cleanup):
→ Up to 4 hours of volunteering → €60 discount on your ticket
Applications are accepted via the registration form.
First come, first served – the earlier you register, the better your chances of getting a volunteer spot.
